Questions every breeder asks before starting
Is the app free?
Yes — the free plan covers up to 25 animals with the core features. Larger farms can choose annual plans inside the app (Golden and above) that unlock advanced herd indicators and conversion efficiency.
Is Throf available outside Saudi Arabia?
Yes. The app is on the App Store and Google Play across the GCC and worldwide, with Arabic and English interfaces. Support comes from our team in Riyadh over WhatsApp and phone.
Which devices does Throf run on?
iPhone and Android, plus a full web platform for large farms, used by owners and employees on a laptop. Sign-in is by mobile number and one-time code, and you can add employees as sub-accounts.
My herd is large — how do I enter the data?
Download the Excel template from the app, fill in the animals and upload it once. Your team can then add daily records from their phones.
Does it remind me of vaccinations and pregnancy checks?
Yes. The vaccination program sends an alert before the date, and the breeding hub reminds you of pregnancy checks and expected due dates.
Does it work with an RFID reader?
Yes — Throf pairs with Bluetooth readers for electronic ear tags (FDX-B) on Android and iOS; stay within 10 metres of the reader and scan.
Who can see my data?
You and the team members you authorise. An employee sees only the sections they are allowed; finance is owner-only. See the privacy policy for details.
